Mexico Pt. I”

Most of the dogs I meet in Mexico have an important job: protect the property. Doesn’t matter if it’s a car, a house, a store, or a beach—or all of the above. They’ve got serious business to attend to.

Sometimes, when we’re hanging out, I get this weird feeling like… I’m supposed to be doing something too? Like I should have a job? Then I remember—looking this cute is basically full-time work. So I let it go. No es importante.

Mexico Pt. I

I won’t sugarcoat it—most of the local humans seem afraid of me. And the street dogs? They give me the look when I try to play, like I’m barking in a totally different language. (Which, let’s be honest, I probably am.)

But I don’t let any of that stop me from being me. I like to see the bowl as half full. I don’t see lines in the sand—only opportunities. Opportunities to chase waves, catch frisbees, and fully seize the playtime moment.

Street life or camper life, it’s all life. And life’s too short not to enjoy the ride.

A wise feline once shared a mantra I’ve carried with me ever since:
“Be here. Be Meow.” – A cat
