Overlanding Skills

For us, overlanding is the best way to see the world since it allows us to get to places that would be difficult to get to without an overland expedition vehicle.

But overlanding isn’t without its challenges. You have to manage the risk of accidents, break-ins, and breakdowns. And you will inevitably need to manage repairs to your vehicle on a regular basis. However, the joy of being able to go where you want, when you want more than offsets these hassles and risks (and, as foreign travelers, you don’t drive up the cost of housing for locals due to Airbnbs).

The best way to become an experienced overlander is to get out there and do it. However, there are nevertheless a few tips and tricks that we will share with you to get you started. These include choosing a vehicle, lifestyle, safety, vehicle maintenance, traveling with pets, and trip planning.
