of the Tail”

Wow, what a journey this has been. At first I thought the journey was about finding my tail.  Then, I came to realize it was about not chasing my tail. Only to come to realize in the end, it was simply about listening to and giving voice to it. My parents always wondered why I barked so much. Now I know why. Someone has to speak for my tail.  After all, no one can see it. That someone should be me.

of the Tail.

At the end of our journey I asked my tail, where does it end and where does it begin?  My tail responded with a quote from Henry Ford, “Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”  I never realized how wise my tail was until I just stopped to listen. So, here we are at the tail end of our journey and we are at the tail end of this tale.

I asked my tail one last question, “Tail?”  My tail replied, “Yes, Oz?”  “Nothing,” I replied, with my nose towards my bum, “I just wanted to be sure of you.”
